Daddy blog

I started this blog when I was following the Life Journal Bible reading plan on YouVersion. (I've since completed that plan.) At that time, YouVersion didn't provide any way for people to respond to my notes, other than to "like" them. So this blog is here to remedy that problem. You may comment on my notes here in the comment section.
I also have a general blog.

Propitiation

7/2/11 Leviticus 4-6; Acts 14

S: Leviticus 4:27-28 If any member of the community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord ’s commands, when they realize their guilt and the sin they have committed becomes known, they must bring as their offering for the sin they committed a female goat without defect.

O: This sentiment is repeated for many different categories of people – all sorts of people who sin unintentionally, when they figure out that they’ve sinned, they should offer a blood sacrifice to propitiate the sin.

A: Even unintended sin has consequences. But God has provided a sacrifice for us – Jesus Christ, whose blood covers all our sins, both intentional and unintentional. So we can confess our sins and trust that He will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

P: Father, we thank You that You sent Your Son to be the blood sacrifice to cover our sins.
