Daddy blog

I started this blog when I was following the Life Journal Bible reading plan on YouVersion. (I've since completed that plan.) At that time, YouVersion didn't provide any way for people to respond to my notes, other than to "like" them. So this blog is here to remedy that problem. You may comment on my notes here in the comment section.
I also have a general blog.

In the mythology of the ancient Middle East, the creation of humans was accidental or incidental, a byproduct of what the gods were doing.

But in the Bible, it makes it clear that God specifically and intentionally created humans, and not only that, in His own image.

So we're not an accident. God loves us and has a wonderful plan for our lives.

  1. Ian biologically we have much in common with the animals. The stages of our life cycle is the same. The main difference seems to be that not only do we have self awareness, we are able to reason and reflect, to imagine and to build and manipulate our environment.
