Daddy blog

I started this blog when I was following the Life Journal Bible reading plan on YouVersion. (I've since completed that plan.) At that time, YouVersion didn't provide any way for people to respond to my notes, other than to "like" them. So this blog is here to remedy that problem. You may comment on my notes here in the comment section.
I also have a general blog.

Agree to disagree agreeably

Romans 14

One man has faith to eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.
Romans 14:2‭-‬3
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.
Romans 14:14‭-‬15

There are things that are correct and things that are wrong in biblical interpretation, and it's OK for us to study scripture and come to certain conclusions, but we must not press our conclusions so much as to cause people to stumble. Too many Christians have labeled other Christians as wrong about various side issues until it causes division and enmity between churches.

Father, as we study the scriptures and seek to understand Your revelation, may we remember that the greatest commandments are to love You and to love others. In Jesus' name, amen
