S: Ephesians 5:8 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!
O: We were sinners destined for eternal spiritual death, but Jesus has won the victory over sin and death. Now God has adopted us as His children, and given us His light.
A: Therefore, now we should live as children of the light and not children of darkness. We can now resist the devil and flee temptation. We must now live in God’s goodness and shine His light to the world.
P: Father, when temptation comes, remind me of this truth, that I may flee temptation and live in Your light. In Jesus’ name, amen.
